In order to avoid damage to system pumps, purpose designed off-line flushing equipment must be used to conduct flushing operations.

The EnerMech Norson flushing units are specifically designed, purpose built units, including both conventional and Flowpulse technologies.

Equipment is available with both DNV 2.7-1 and ATEX certification.

Flowpulse

Flowpulse is a unique technology developed by EnerMech to meet specific flushing problems. It combines the benefits of flushing and pulsing into one integrated unit.

Using integrated accumulators, Flowpulse enables higher fluid velocities to be achieved with reduced input power requirements. The pulsing induced by the accumulators stretches and vibrates the pipe work, without damaging it, thus providing optimum conditions in the pipe work during the flushing operation. The Flowpulse action also negates the need to “hammer” the pipe work during flushing.

Filtration

The use of the highest quality and correctly specified filtration is vital: EnerMech use genuine filter units and elements manufactured by Pall, who are widely regarded as leaders in filtration technology

High quality and correctly specified filtration removes contamination quickly and efficiently and achieves a required cleanliness level in a shorter timeframe.

Pressure Testing

Pressure testing completed pipe work installations is essential to ensure the integrity of the installation prior to commencing any commissioning activities. EnerMech personnel are equipped to provide pressure testing services to either client or EnerMech defined specifications.
